The S4-NO2 nitrogen dioxide gas detection sensor is a constant potential electrolytic sensor. The corresponding redox reaction between nitrogen dioxide and oxygen takes place on the working electrode and the counter electrode and releases the charge to form a current. The generated current is proportional to the concentration of nitrogen dioxide. The concentration of nitrogen dioxide can be determined by the size of the test current.
