The S4-NO nitric oxide gas detection sensor is a constant potential electrolytic sensor. Nitric Oxide and oxygen undergo corresponding redox reaction on the working electrode and the counter electrode and release charge to form a current. The generated current is proportional to the concentration of Nitric Oxide. The concentration of Nitric Oxide can be determined by measuring the current.
