The SMNO2 nitrogen dioxide gas detection sensor is a constant potential electrolytic sensor. Nitrogen dioxide and oxygen undergo corresponding redox reactions on the working electrode and counter electrode, respectively, releasing charges and forming a current. The magnitude of the current is directly proportional to the nitrogen dioxide concentration. By measuring the current magnitude, the nitrogen dioxide concentration can be determined.
