The SMH2S hydrogen sulfide gas detection sensor is a constant potential electrolytic sensor. Hydrogen sulfide and oxygen undergo corresponding redox reactions on the working electrode and counter electrode, respectively, releasing charges and forming a current. The magnitude of the current is directly proportional to the hydrogen sulfide concentration, and the concentration of hydrogen sulfide can be determined by measuring the current magnitude.
