S4-H2 is a constant potential electrolytic sensor. The hydrogen and oxygen react with each other in the working electrode and the counter electrode and release the charge to form a current. The current generated is proportional to the concentration of hydrogen. The concentration of hydrogen can be determined by measuring the current.
