The H4NO2 nitrogen dioxide gas detection sensor is a fixed-potential electrolytic sensor. Nitrogen dioxide and oxygen undergo corresponding redox reactions at the working electrode and counter electrode, releasing charges to form an electric current. The magnitude of this current is directly proportional to the concentration of nitrogen dioxide. By measuring the current, the concentration of nitrogen dioxide can be determined.
